Trendy Party Dress Up Tips

Fashion designer Puja Mittal tells you how to be trendy the traditional way

1. Go for plain sarees in colours like blues, reds, blacks, with borders in metallic hues in silver, bronze or dull gold. Team it up with stylish blouse in halters, low backs, preferably in metallic hues.

2. Opt for black velvet straight-cut churidar kurtas with low back or an elegant Chinese neck - both fit with as much grace and ease as the slit backless gown.

3. Silk kaftans and revel knee length kaftans are among the best for a short dress look, without any fuss on waistlines.

4. Go minimalistic on neckwear if sporting long chandelier earrings or try teaming it with stunning flower power studs.

5. Choose comfortable, smart footwear to party all night.
